Punjab Police Operations Yield Significant Results
In a series of operations, the Punjab Police successfully recovered an RDX-laden IED, four pistols, and a substantial quantity of narcotics. These efforts led to the arrest of 14 individuals linked to foreign-based terror and drug modules, underscoring the ongoing challenges faced by law enforcement in the region.

Recruitment Drive Announced
To be eligible for the Constable posts, candidates must have completed Class 12 from a recognized board. The recruitment includes 2,522 vacancies in the District Police Cadre and 775 in the Armed Police Cadre. Selected candidates will receive a starting salary of Rs 19,900 per month, with a minimum age requirement of 18 years.
