Hyundai Verna Facelift Launched in India

The 2026 Hyundai Verna facelift has been officially launched in India, marking a significant update to the popular sedan. With a price range between Rs 10.98 lakh and Rs 18.25 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Verna aims to enhance its competitive edge in the market.

This updated model is available in six variants: HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6+, HX8, and HX10, providing customers with a range of options to choose from. Notably, the facelift introduces two new color options: Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte, adding to the aesthetic appeal of the vehicle.

Under the hood, the Verna is powered by a choice of two engines: a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine that produces 115 hp and 144 Nm of torque, and a more powerful 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine generating 160 hp and 253 Nm of torque. This range of powertrains is designed to cater to different driving preferences.

Safety has been a focal point in the new Verna, which includes a Level-2 ADAS suite and seven airbags, enhancing the protection for occupants. Additionally, the interior features dual 10.25-inch screens and a new D-cut steering wheel, contributing to a modern and tech-savvy cabin environment.

Other notable features include a powered tailgate and a built-in dashcam, which add convenience and security for drivers. The trunk capacity is also impressive, offering 528 litres of space for luggage.

Deliveries for the new Verna are expected to start by the end of the month, creating anticipation among potential buyers. The updated Verna will compete directly with rivals such as the Honda City, VW Virtus, and Skoda Slavia, all of which are prominent players in the sedan segment.

Hyundai Motor India has positioned the Verna facelift as a strong contender in this competitive market, aiming to attract both new customers and loyal fans of the brand. As the automotive landscape continues to evolve, the response to this facelift will be closely monitored.

Details remain unconfirmed regarding further specifications or features that may be introduced in the future. However, the initial launch has set a positive tone for the Verna’s continued success in India.
