IOCL Announces 2026 Apprentice Recruitment

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 405 Trade, Technician, and Graduate Apprentice posts. This recruitment drive is significant as it offers numerous opportunities for young candidates across several states in India.

The online application process commenced on March 11, 2026, and will remain open until March 26, 2026. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply promptly to secure their chance at these positions.

The apprenticeship opportunities are available in various states, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Daman and Diu. This wide geographical spread aims to attract a diverse pool of applicants.

To be eligible, candidates must be between 18 and 24 years of age as of February 28, 2026. Specific educational qualifications are required for different apprentice categories. Technician Apprentice candidates must possess a three-year full-time diploma in the relevant engineering discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).

For Trade Apprentice positions, candidates need to have completed Matriculation along with a two-year ITI course in the relevant trade recognized by NCVT or SCVT. Graduate Apprentice candidates should hold a full-time bachelor’s degree in any discipline with the required minimum marks.

Additionally, Data Entry Operator candidates must have completed Class 12, with additional skill certification required for the skilled category. This structured approach ensures that candidates are well-prepared for their respective roles.

The selection process for these apprentice positions will be based solely on merit, with no written examination or interview required. This streamlined process is designed to facilitate a fair and efficient recruitment experience.

The apprenticeship training period will last for 12 months, providing candidates with valuable hands-on experience in their respective fields. Candidates must apply through the NAPS or NATS portals only, ensuring a centralized application process.
