The RBSE Class 8 results were announced on March 24, 2026, following a rigorous evaluation process that concluded after examinations held over two weeks ending March 4. This year, a total of 12,86,220 students appeared for the Class 8 examination, reflecting a significant commitment to education across Rajasthan.
In a noteworthy achievement, 12,45,735 students successfully passed the Class 8 examination, resulting in a commendable pass percentage of 97.01%. This marks an improvement of 0.35% from the previous year, indicating a positive trend in student performance.
The examinations were conducted at 10,056 centres throughout the state, ensuring accessibility for all students. Notably, boys achieved a pass percentage of 96.52%, while girls outperformed with a pass percentage of 97.57%, highlighting the ongoing strides towards gender parity in education.
Despite the overall success, a total of 38,276 students were placed in the supplementary category, indicating that they did not meet the minimum requirement of 33% marks in each subject to qualify. These students will have the opportunity to re-examine, allowing them a chance to improve their scores.
The results also reflect the performance of younger students, with the Class 5 pass percentage recorded at 97.75% in 2026, where 13,68,947 students appeared for the examination. This consistency in high pass rates across grades underscores the effectiveness of educational initiatives in the state.
Officials from the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education have expressed satisfaction with the results, emphasizing the importance of continued support for students in the supplementary category. They have assured that resources will be made available to help these students succeed in their re-examinations.
