The case against Ashok Kharat, a self-styled godman and astrologer, has intensified with the police filing two additional rape FIRs. Authorities have remanded Kharat to five days of police custody following claims that he was involved in five instances of human sacrifice. The shocking details of the investigation reveal that assets worth approximately ₹40 crore have been uncovered, raising questions about the extent of his illicit activities.
According to reports, Kharat has traveled to 13 different countries, which adds an international dimension to the case. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) recovered a revolver, 21 cartridges, and ₹6 lakh in cash from his possession, indicating a well-organized operation.
