The CBSE 10th Result 2026 is expected to be released in early May, following the completion of the exams scheduled from February 17 to March 11, 2026. This year, the introduction of two board exam phases allows students to retake the exam in May-June if needed.
Students can access their results on several platforms, including results.cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, digilocker.gov.in, and the Umang App. Last year, the results for CBSE 10th and 12th were released on May 13, 2025, with a pass percentage of 93.66% for the 10th grade.
In 2025, girls achieved a remarkable pass percentage of 95%, while boys followed with 92.63%. Notably, CBSE does not publish a list of 10th grade toppers to mitigate unhealthy competition among students.
For those dissatisfied with their marks, the board offers a rechecking option. Additionally, students who fail in one or more subjects can appear in the second stage of the CBSE 10th exam.
Internal assessments will be conducted only once before the first exam, applicable to both attempts. This streamlined approach aims to enhance the evaluation process for students.
