Itanagar: The Arunachal Pradesh authorities on Tuesday inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ruchi Soya Industries for organising of oil palm manufacturing and processing unit at Niglok Industrial Progress Centre in East Siang district.
The MoU was signed between Arunachal Pradesh Industrial Growth Finance Companies Restricted (APIDFCL), MD, Hage Tari and Subhas Bhattacharjee (Head North East area) of Ruchi Soya Industries, official sources stated.
With the signing of the MoU, farmers and different entrepreneurs can be benefited as giant variety of unused land within the state might be utilized for plantations of oil palm on a big scale which might be a prepared uncooked materials feeder for oil palm manufacturing models.
The APIDFCL, a state authorities enterprise, was established in August 9, 1978, beneath the Corporations Act 1956. A complete of 51.07 per cent fairness share is held by the APIDFCL and 48.93 per cent by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
The company was established because the apex industrial improvement and monetary establishment for promotion of industries and to behave as catalyst for development of entrepreneurship, industrialization and employment technology for tribal inhabitants of the state.
