Silchar: NF Railway Normal Supervisor Anshul Gupta on Monday toured the breached parts of the Lumding-Badarpur rail part and took inventory of the restoration work.

“I inspected the work. We’re shifting on the appropriate path and if the climate stays pleasant, we will restore the part by mid-July,” the GM stated.
NF Railway CPRO Sabyasachi De stated that most breach factors have been restored and work between Phiding and Daotuhaja was ongoing, the place the rail monitor went hanging after a significant landslip.
“We might be resuming prepare service between Silchar and Haflong from June 30. The stated part has been restored,” De stated.
The prepare will function day by day with scheduled departure from Silchar and New Haflong at 7:20 am and three:30 pm respectively.
In the meantime, NF railway has cancelled all long-distance trains within the hill part until July 15. Agartala-Firozpur, Agartala-Bengaluru, Silchar-New Delhi, Silchar-Tinsukia, Silchar-Guwahati, and Agartala-Deogarh are few trains amongst many which have been cancelled.
