The Madhya Pradesh government is poised to implement a new transfer policy for the education department. This policy aims to address persistent issues within the transfer process. It will be distinct from other department guidelines.

As of early Tuesday, reports indicate that the Cabinet approval for this policy is imminent. The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav, has emphasized the urgency of this change.

The current limit on voluntary transfers stands at just 20 posts. Under the new policy, this number could rise significantly to 200 posts available for voluntary transfers.

Officials have indicated that the transfer ban might be lifted for one month starting May 15, 2026. This temporary lift could provide relief to many educators seeking relocation.

Key dates:

The second Class 10 board examination for CBSE is scheduled to begin on May 15, 2026.

Maharashtra SSC examinations took place between February 20 and March 18, 2026.

Maharashtra SSC results are anticipated in May 2026, following previous trends where results were announced around mid-May.

Food and Civil Supplies Minister Govind Singh Rajput noted that a large number of applications are typically received during these periods, especially when local MLAs are involved.

The new transfer policy could significantly impact educators across Madhya Pradesh. It aims to streamline processes that have historically been fraught with delays and complications.

This initiative is part of broader efforts by the state government to enhance educational standards and operational efficiency within schools.

The CBSE Class 12 exam results are expected to be released in the third week of May 2026. This year marks the first time that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will use an On-Screen Marking system for evaluating results.

The Class 12 board examinations took place from February 17 to April 10, 2026. Students must achieve at least 33% marks in each theory paper and in the combined total for every subject to pass.

The evaluation process for the results began in a phased manner after the exams concluded. Sanyam Bhardwaj stated that “the process is functioning ‘perfectly’ and remains firmly on schedule.” Reports suggesting disruptions in the digital evaluation system are “far away from facts,” he added.

In 2025, over 16.9 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 examinations, achieving an overall pass percentage of 88.39%. The results for CBSE Class 12 are typically declared after May 10, based on past trends.

Students can check their results on the official website results.cbse.nic.in. The introduction of this digital marking system aims to modernize the evaluation process and speed up result compilation.

Officials have not confirmed if any additional changes will be implemented for future examinations. However, they assure that the current process is on track to meet its deadlines.

The CUET UG 2026 admit card was released on May 5, 2026. Candidates can download it from cuet.nta.nic.in. The exam is scheduled from May 11 to May 31, 2026.

Before this release, candidates anticipated the announcement. Many expressed concerns about downloading their admit cards on time.

Now that the admit cards are available, candidates must act quickly. They need to print their admit cards and bring a valid photo ID to the exam centre.

Key requirements for candidates:

Candidates must carry a printed admit card for entry into the exam hall.

A valid photo ID is required; acceptable forms include Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, and Class 12 Board Admit Card.

The admit card includes important details such as exam date, reporting time, and exam centre address.

Candidates are also required to fill out a self-declaration form at home but sign it in front of the invigilator.

NTA will not provide the admit card through offline mode. Candidates must use their application number and password to access it online.

However, some candidates reported issues with exam city slips. These included long distances to their assigned exam centres.

Experts emphasize that timely downloads are crucial. “Candidates should not miss downloading the call letters as the link is live on the portal to avoid any last-minute issues,” an NTA representative stated.
