New Delhi: Client safety regulator CCPA on Friday mentioned it has issued notices to cab aggregators Ola and Uber for unfair commerce practices and violation of client rights.
“We now have issued notices to each Ola and Uber. Many of the client complaints obtained within the final one 12 months are associated to the deficiency in providers and different unfair commerce practices,” Central Client Safety Authority (CCPA) Chief Commissioner Nidhi Khare advised PTI.
In a gathering held on Might 10 with cab aggregators, the federal government had warned of strict motion until they enhance their programs and redress rising client complaints.
“We advised them concerning the rising client complaints in opposition to their platforms. We gave them the statistics additionally. We now have requested them to enhance their system and redress the patron complaints in any other case the competent authority will take strict motion,” Client Affairs Secretary Rohit Kumar Singh had mentioned after the assembly.
The assembly was attended by representatives of Ola, Uber, Meru, Rapido and Jugnu.
The authority has given 15-day time to answer.
