Guwahati: In a lift to infrastructure in Assam, state Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday took half in ‘Bhumi Puja’ for the development of a 1.4-km-long 4-lane flyover together with a 2-lane prolonged arm on Lumding-Dimapur Street at Diphu in Karbi Anglong district.

The 243-crore mission will assist in easing visitors to an incredible extent in Diphu.

Taking to Twitter, Chief Minister Sarma mentioned, “Blissful to participate in Bhumi Puja for development of a 1.4-km-long 4-lane flyover together with a 2-lane prolonged arm on Lumding-Dimapur Street at Diphu, Karbi Anglong. Moreover easing visitors in Diphu city, the ₹243-cr mission will set a brand new milestone in our infrastructure development.”

 

The chief minister was accompanied by CEM of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) Tuliram Ronghang, Deputy Speaker of Assam Legislative Meeting Dr Numal Momin, MP Horen Sing Bey, MLA of Diphu Bidya Sing Engleng amongst a number of different MLAs of Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong on the event.
