New Delhi: In a significant push to Coal evacuation from Mand-Raigarh Coalfields, the primary rake of Coal has been loaded from Gharghoda freight terminal of Chhattisgarh East Rail Restricted(CERL) on fifteenth Nov 2021. The rake was despatched to Marwa Energy Home of Chhattisgarh State Energy Era Firm Restricted (CSPGCL).
The Chhattisgarh East Railway Restricted (CERL) is a subsidiary of SECL, a Mini Ratna Firm below Coal India Restricted. The undertaking has approximate size of 130 kms of route size i.e major line from Kharsia to Dharamjaygarh , 3 feeder line and spur line from Gharghoda to Donga Mauha, thereby connecting mines of Gare-Pelma block. Kharsia to Dharamjaigarh Principal Line (74 Km ) of the undertaking has already been commissioned and steadiness is focused to be Commissioned by 30.09.2022.
The Coal rake loading facility from Gharghoda freight terminal will generate loading potential to the tune of about 3 rakes per day.
