The Indian Meteorological Division (IMD) has acknowledged that from August 1, the rainfall exercise will enhance in South Peninsular India through the subsequent 5 days and can lower within the Northeast areas of the nation progressively.

For August 1, the IMD has positioned Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya beneath Orange Alert. 

Heavy to very heavy rainfall could be very possible at remoted locations over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and Kerala and Mahe.

Whereas heavy rainfall at remoted locations is probably going over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Rayalaseema and South Inside Karnataka.

Thunderstorm accompanied with gusty winds possible at remoted locations over Andaman & Nicobar Islands and with lightning at remoted locations over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, Kerala & Mahe and Lakshadweep.

Squally climate (wind pace 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph) very possible over alongside and off Kerala, Karnataka, Lakshadweep and Comorin space. 

Robust winds of 45-55 kmph gusting to 65 kmph possible over south west Arabian Sea and adjoining west central Arabian Sea and 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph possible over south west and adjoining west central Arabian Sea and south Bay of Bengal. 
Therefore, fishermen are suggested to not enterprise deep into these seas.
