The police have arrested 20-year-old man for allegedly murdering his brother-in-law. The deceased, an ex-Military personnel, was discovered shot useless at his Basai Enclave home.

“Throughout interrogation, the accused revealed that his brother-in-law Harvinder had lent him Rs 1.5 lakh. He used to ask for his spouse’s share from the ancestral property of the accused. He used to quarrel with the accused and his sister relating to this matter,” stated Preet Pal Singh Sangwan, ACP, crime. “A pistol and 4 reside cartridges have been recovered from accused,” he stated.
