Famous ophthalmologist – Dr Ronel Soibam of Manipur was named as one of many “Worldwide Ophthalmic Heroes of India” by the All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS) throughout its recently-concluded ’eightieth Annual Convention held at Jio World Conference Centre in Mumbai.
Dr Soibam was feted by AIOS for profitable the Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) achievement award, held in Hong Kong in September 2021.
Hailing from Heirangoithong Keibung Makha in Imphal West, the 48-year-old ophthalmologist focuses on “Vitreo-Retina”.
