Hyderabad: The Rachakonda police rescued a complete of 191 kids through the Operation Muskaan VIII held between July 1 and July 31 throughout the commissionerate’s jurisdiction.

Rachakonda Police Commissioner, Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat mentioned particular groups comprising a sub inspector and 4 constables had been fashioned in any respect sub divisions and together with Anti Human Trafficking Wing, tracked the youngsters who had been lacking, potential baby labour, bonded baby labour and adolescents working in hazardous occupations.

In a serious operation, the police rescued three minor boys from Jawaharnagar who had been pressured to gather cash by the administration of an orphanage. A case was registered towards them.

In all, 5 instances had been registered towards the managements who engaged baby labour and arrested them beneath Baby Labour Act, Bonded Labour Act and Juvenile Justice Act.

As a part of consciousness through the Operation Muskaan VIII, the police circulated consciousness posters and pamphlets among the many public. The police warned the managements of corporations and workshops towards using kids as labourers.

Youngsters rescued belong to totally different States together with Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chattisgarh, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Uttarakhand.
