KURUKSHETRA: The district administration is all set to unveil the Virat Swaroop (Common Kind) of Lord Krishna at Jyotisar village, the birthplace of holy Bhagavad Gita in Kurukshetra district at 11am on June 30.
Kurukshetra deputy commissioner (DC) Mukul Kumar instructed on Tuesday that Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat and Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar could be unveiling the Virat Swaroop, which has been developed by Kurukshetra Improvement Board (KDB) at a price of Rs 10 crore.
He mentioned the district administration has accomplished all of the preparations for this occasion. Kumar visited the occasion venue at Jyotisar to establish the preparations.
He was accompanied by KDB chief govt officer Chanderkant Kataria, KDB member Upender Singhal and officers of tourism division, Haryana.
KDB honorary secretary Madan Mohan Chhabra mentioned after the revealing ceremony, Haryana CM and the RSS chief would take part in a seminar at 11.30am, on the subject of ‘Present Relevance of Bhagvada Gita’, at a personal institute Gita Gyan Sansthanam, Kurukshetra run by RSS ideologue Swami Gyananand.
On April 23, Haryana tourism and forest minister Kanwar Pal visited Jyotisar to establish the event works of Virat Swaroop of Lord Krishna.
