Guwahati: Union Minister of Ports, Delivery & Waterways and AYUSH, Sarbananda Sonowal attended the ‘Vanijya Utsav: Showcasing India as a Rising Financial Drive’ in Aizawl, Mizoram by way of video convention. The Vanijya Utsav is being held as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, commemorating 75 years of India’s Independence.
The Union Minister addressed the inaugural session and highlighted the immense financial potential of the frontier state. The Union Minister acknowledged that Mizoram, with its large pure sources, scenic magnificence and strategic location is poised for development and the state will climb larger heights of progress and proceed its transformational journey beneath the management of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Dr R Lalthangliana, Mizoram Industries & Commerce Minister, Division of Commerce representatives from Govt of India and senior Mizoram Govt officers had been current within the inaugural session of the Vanijya Utsav.
