SJVN buys 2,043 acre-land for 1,000 MW solar project in Rajasthan

New Delhi: State-owned SJVN has bought 2,043 acres of land to arrange a 1,000 MW solar energy undertaking in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The undertaking is scheduled to be commissioned in January 2024.

The pact has been signed by SGEL with MP Energy Administration Firm Ltd (MPPMCL) and Rewa Extremely Mega Photo voltaic Restricted (RUMSL) for the 90 MW FSP.

“The Letter of Award for improvement of FSP has been issued by RUMSL.

“The tentative value of improvement of the undertaking is Rs 585 crore and it shall be commissioned in a interval of 15 months from the signing of PPA. The undertaking has been bagged at (tariff of) Rs 3.26 /unit in a Tariff Based mostly Aggressive (TBC) Bidding technique of RUMSL by means of e-reverse public sale,” Sharma stated.
