Sohna MLA Sanjay Singh has acquired an extortion message on his WhatsApp quantity. The sender recognized himself as a member of the Neeraj Bawana gang.He sought Rs 5 lakh from him and in addition shared the account quantity to which the quantity was to be transferred.
In line with the FIR, the message was acquired on June 25 when the MLA was at his Sohna residence.
“Round 7:30 pm, I acquired a message on my Whatsapp. The sender mentioned he was an affiliate of gangster Neeraj Bawana and demanded Rs 5 lakh from me. He messaged me once more on June 26 and shared a checking account quantity, through which the quantity was to be deposited. He threatened to kill me if I didn’t pay him,” the MLA mentioned in his grievance.
Following the grievance, an FIR was registered in opposition to the unidentified accused below Sections 387 (extortion) and 506 (felony intimidation) of IPC at Sohna metropolis police station.
“The Sohna MLA has acquired risk messages on his mobile phone. We now have filed a case and are investigating the matter,” the police’s official assertion reads.
