Within hours of the announcement, DJP confirmed that personal assistance will be available daily from Monday to Sunday during the reporting period. This support aims to help taxpayers navigate their obligations more effectively.

Bimo Vijayanto, Director General of Taxes, stated, “This extension is based on the need to improve services for taxpayers.” He emphasized that the goal is to ensure that assistance is readily accessible.

Officials have not disclosed further details about how these changes will impact overall compliance rates. However, they are committed to ensuring all services align closely with taxpayer needs.

This extension could significantly ease the burden on corporate taxpayers who need more time for accurate reporting. The move reflects a growing recognition of the complexities involved in tax compliance.
