The Factor DX is priced at BRL 18,990. It can operate using pure petrol or ethanol as well as various blends of both fuels.

This model builds upon the standard Factor 150, but adds several new features. The motorcycle includes Pack Plus accessories such as USB charging ports and a main stand.

The Factor DX is available in three colors: Titanium Grey, Racing Blue, and Midnight Black. It also features LED DRLs, revised graphics, and painted wheels.

In terms of specifications, the Factor DX boasts a 149cc single-cylinder engine. It produces 11.8 bhp when using petrol and up to 12 bhp with ethanol. The kerb weight is set at 133 kg with a fuel tank capacity of 15.4 liters.

The seat height measures at 785 mm with a minimum ground clearance of 170 mm. Additionally, it comes equipped with a fully digital LCD cluster and rides on 18-inch alloy wheels.

Braking is handled by front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. The motorcycle is paired with a smooth-shifting five-speed gearbox.

Experts note that Yamaha’s entry into the flex fuel technology segment could reshape the Brazilian motorcycle market. The FZ series has already gained popularity among commuters, making this launch timely.

However, uncertainties linger regarding whether the Yamaha Factor DX will be launched in India. Officials have not confirmed any plans for an international rollout yet.
