The Madhya Pradesh Board of School Education has released the results for Class 5 and Class 8, revealing a remarkable overall pass percentage of 95.14% for Class 5 and 93.83% for Class 8. This announcement, made at 1:30 PM on March 25, 2026, marks a significant achievement for the approximately 2,368,000 students who participated in the examinations across 110,699 institutions.

In Class 5, female students excelled with a pass percentage of 96.19%, outperforming their male counterparts, who achieved a pass rate of 94.15%. Similarly, in Class 8, female students recorded a pass percentage of 94.98%, while male students had a pass rate of 92.74%. These figures highlight the ongoing progress in gender parity in education within the state.

The Shahdol division emerged as the top performer in Class 5 results, while Indore division secured the first position in Class 8. This competitive edge among divisions reflects the diverse educational landscape of Madhya Pradesh.

The examinations were conducted at 12,943 centres throughout the state, with the evaluation process involving 110,655 teachers working across 322 centres. Marks were efficiently entered online via a mobile application after assessment, streamlining the results process.

Students who did not achieve passing marks will have the opportunity to participate in supplementary examinations, ensuring that all students have a chance to succeed. Results can be accessed through the official website rskmp.in.

Notably, last year’s results were announced on March 28, indicating that this year’s marksheet was released three days earlier, showcasing improvements in administrative efficiency.

Details remain unconfirmed regarding the specific number of students who will take the supplementary examinations, but the board is expected to provide further updates soon.
