The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is set to take place from May 11 to May 31, 2026. Students can download their city intimation slip from the official website cuet.nta.nic.in. However, this slip does not serve as an admit card and lacks critical details such as the exact exam centre or the date and time of the exam.

Students have reported being assigned distant examination centres, which they say imposes financial and logistical burdens on them. One anonymous candidate expressed frustration, stating, “I don’t know how a poor student like me will manage the expenses, especially in this extreme heat.” This sentiment reflects widespread anxiety among candidates.

The city intimation slip is intended to help candidates plan their travel arrangements ahead of the examination date. Yet, it has instead contributed to confusion and distress. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has advised students to treat this slip as a preliminary document.

Officials have not confirmed if any changes will be made regarding the allocated centres. Additionally, the NTA will not entertain requests for rescheduling of exam dates or shifts. As a result, many students feel trapped by circumstances beyond their control.
