Bhopal: In an unlucky incident, Udhampur Durg Categorical caught hearth on Friday. The practice was heading from Delhi to Durg in Chhattisgarh when two AC bogies of Udhampur Categorical catch hearth at Hetampur station between Morena and Dholpur in Madhya Pradesh.
Round 72 passengers had a fortunate escape when the fireplace broke out in two AC coaches of the practice.
Udhampur-Durg Categorical’ A1 and A2 coaches reported hearth as a result of unknown causes after leaving the Hetampur Railway Station.
The 2 AC coaches caught hearth at round 3.30 pm because the practice was close to Hetampur station. It was halted instantly and the passengers evacuated. Saraichola police station in-charge Rishikesh Sharma mentioned the passengers of the ill-fated coaches managed to come back out by breaking the window panes.
The baggage of the passengers of the 2 coaches have been broken, in line with the police.
Dr Shivam Sharma, CPRO/NCR confirmed that no passenger misplaced life within the practice hearth incident and all passengers have been evacuated safely.
The Railway official knowledgeable that the entrance a part of the practice was and the fireplace brigade reached the spot to douse the blaze.
This practice was stopped and all different trains on the route are operating as per their schedule, Dr Sharma mentioned.
The locals residing close to the station performed a serious function in evacuation and dousing the fireplace, PTI quoted eyewitnesses as saying.
