The CBSE has introduced a second opportunity for Class 10 students to improve their scores in specific subjects, reducing exam-related stress.
As of early Tuesday, the dates for the Class 10 Phase 2 board examinations have been announced. The exams will commence on May 15, 2026, and conclude on May 21, 2026.
Eligible students include those who appeared in at least three subjects during the first board exam. They can choose to improve their scores in up to three subjects.
The detailed exam schedule includes Mathematics on May 15 and Social Science on May 21. This initiative allows students to enhance their academic performance while alleviating pressure.
The exams will be conducted in offline pen-and-paper mode. Students must carry the admit cards issued by their schools.
CBSE stated, “CBSE 2nd Board Examination 2026 Date Sheet (Class X) released!” This announcement aims to provide clarity and support for students.
This second chance is expected to help many students who may need additional time or opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge.
