Rakhi Sawant has made a heartfelt appeal to Salman Khan’s fans to watch his cameo in Raja Shivaji, which was released on May 1, 2026. The film features Khan as Jiva Mahala and aims to highlight the bravery of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
The historical drama opened with a net collection of Rs 11.35 crore in India. This box office success underscores the film’s impact in Bollywood.
In her appeal, Sawant said, “Salman Khan ke fans ko ye bolna chahungi, me tumhari behn Rakhi Sawant hu, Salman Khan ki jo ye film ayi hai Raja Shivaji, isko dekho.” Her words reflect the excitement surrounding Khan’s role and the film itself.
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut has recalled how Salman Khan encouraged her to pursue a meeting with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali early in her career. She was around 16 or 17 years old at the time. Ranaut’s debut film, Gangster, was released in 2006.
Kangana stated, “He said, you should go and meet Sanjay Bhansali.” She later expressed regret about not listening to his advice sooner.
Looking ahead, Salman Khan is set to star in a superhero film directed by Raj & DK. Filming for this project is expected to commence in October 2026.
The success of Raja Shivaji may influence future projects within Bollywood as filmmakers look to replicate its appeal. However, further developments regarding Khan’s upcoming roles remain uncertain.
