The CUET 2026 exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from May 11 to May 31, 2026. This significant entrance exam will accommodate millions of candidates across multiple days.

Before this announcement, candidates anticipated a similar structure to previous years. However, the newly outlined schedule introduces specific shift timings and reporting instructions.

The exam will feature two primary slots. Slot 1 runs from 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM, while Slot 2 is set for 3:00 PM to 6:45 PM.

Candidates must arrive at their respective exam centers two hours before their scheduled start time. The doors will close strictly 30 minutes before the exam begins.

For candidates with disabilities (PwD), an additional 20 minutes will be provided for every hour of the exam. This aims to ensure equitable conditions for all participants.

Candidates are required to bring a printed CUET UG 2026 admit card along with a valid ID. These documents are crucial for entry into the exam hall.

The exam city slip, admit card, and exam schedule will contain detailed information about the shift timings. Candidates are advised to check their assigned exam centers a day prior to the test.

Additionally, prohibited items such as mobile phones, smart watches, and calculators are not allowed in the examination hall. Strict adherence to these rules is essential.

This year, the NTA has implemented extensive measures for smooth conduct. Over two lakh personnel have been deployed across various locations.

The CUET UG exam is a critical gateway for students seeking admission into undergraduate programs in India. With precise planning and execution, the NTA aims to facilitate a seamless examination process.
