The MHT CET will have a second attempt starting on May 9, 2026, allowing 4,92,383 students another chance to improve their scores.

The MBA/MMS CET will also take place on May 9, with 53,931 candidates participating.

The PCB group exam is scheduled for May 10 and 11, 2026, affecting 1,16,538 students.

The PCM group exam will run from May 12 to May 21 but will not be held on May 16 and 17. This segment involves 3,21,914 candidates.

In the first attempt earlier this year, 8,96,236 students registered. Of these, 8,33,482 appeared for the exam, marking an attendance rate of 92.99%.

This year marks the first time the CET Cell has introduced two attempts for these entrance exams. Previously, only one attempt was allowed.

Key details:

  • The official release of the MHT CET 2026 Answer Key Session 1 is expected by May 2, 2026.
  • Candidates can download the answer key and response sheet from cetcell.mahacet.org.
  • A score of 100 marks in MHT CET is expected to correspond to a percentile range of around 88 to 92 for PCM and 85 to 90 for PCB.

If a candidate appears for both attempts, the higher percentile score will be considered for admission.

The CET Cell has officially confirmed that the MBA answer keys will be available on May 2. Candidates are advised to prepare accordingly as they navigate this new examination landscape.
