The BMW F 450 GS has officially launched in India. This adventure motorcycle targets a new generation of riders with its advanced features and iconic design.
As of early Tuesday, the F 450 GS is powered by a 420 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. It produces 48 hp and 43 Nm of torque. The motorcycle comes in three variants: Base, Exclusive, and Trophy.
The pricing starts at ₹4.70 lakh for the Base variant, ₹4.90 lakh for the Exclusive, and ₹5.30 lakh for the Trophy model. It features a 14-liter fuel tank and weighs 178 kg.
Notably, the seat height is set at 845 mm, making it accessible for many riders. The bike runs on 19-inch front wheels and 17-inch rear wheels—ideal for both city commutes and adventurous outings.
The F 450 GS includes modern technology such as a 6.5-inch TFT display, heated grips, and adjustable levers. It also offers four riding modes: Rain, Road, Enduro, and Enduro Pro.
Safety is a priority with features like ABS Pro and Dynamic Brake Control included. Additionally, it boasts an Easy Ride Clutch and Shift Assistant Pro for clutchless operation.
Hardeep Singh Brar stated, “The new BMW F 450 GS is built for a new generation of adventure riders, as it embarks on a bold new chapter in the GS legacy.” This launch follows four years of anticipation marked by spy shots circulating online.
The bike is locally produced in India while being developed in Germany. Initial reactions from enthusiasts suggest strong interest in the model’s capabilities and design.
