On April 25, 2026, Aayushmaan fell victim to a scheme that promised a seven-day free trial. Instead, it charged him for a full year’s subscription.
Initially, he approved a $0 transaction. Within hours, the larger amount was deducted from his account.
Archana Puran Singh advised him to cancel the card and contact the bank immediately. Meanwhile, Parmeet Sethi suggested he cancel the payment instead.
Aayushmaan had previously lost Rs 80,000 from his PlayStation account in a similar incident. This pattern of fraud has left him frustrated.
He expressed his anger at being unable to reach customer support. “They are making me speak to the AI only,” he stated.
As of midday, Aayushmaan was told it would take 48 hours for the bank to respond. “I have no option,” he lamented.
